At First Lavaca, we want everyone to make deep, lasting connections. We value community because we understand that doing life with other believers is essential to the Christian walk. Small Groups are gatherings of people that meet on campus and in homes weekly for friendship, Bible study, and prayer. These groups are where a large church becomes a small church where you are known and ministered to most intimately. If you are looking for people to connect with as you continue your walk with Jesus, a Small Group is the best place to start.
We are here to help you connect with others. Getting started is simple: fill out the Small Group Interest Form. We’ll prayerfully take a look at your preferences and suggest a few options to get you plugged in. You can also come to the welcome desk in the Worship Center, and one of our helpful volunteers will be ready to assist you.

At First Lavaca, we are always looking for gifted teachers and facilitators to launch new groups so we can help more people find their place to connect. If you are interested in group leadership and meet the Small Group Leader Qualifications, prayerfully consider joining our team of leaders. We provide all the training and resources you will need, and our ministerial staff will be there to assist you every step of the way.
