Vision and Purpose
Our Purpose is “Helping Kids to Fall in Love
with Jesus & Equipping Parents for Discipleship”. Every week, we have amazing
adult volunteers pouring into your birth - 6th grade children teaching them the
Word of God and how live a gospel-centered life in Jesus Christ!
We understand that life has been a different due to COVID-19. However, we still believe that worshiping the Lord Jesus together is a wonderful blessing that we desire children to take part of as well.

Sunday
Morning
From birth through 6th grade, we’ve got your kids covered on Sunday
mornings. Our desire is to provide a fun, Bible-centered, relational, safe, and
applicable experience for your child each and every week in our Sunday School
classes and Kids Church service.
- 9:30am - Sunday School (Birth - 6th Grade)
- 10:30am - Kids Church (K-4th Grade)
- Extended Nursery
(Birth - Preschool)

Mid-Week
Wednesday evenings during
the school year we have an action-packed, fun, Bible-centered midweek
experience called TEAM KID for your 1st-6th grader. We also have a fun,
playful, Bible-filled CUBBIES club for 3 yr olds through Kindergarten. A unique
element for TEAM KID & CUBBIES are our outstanding Small Group Leaders who
pour into your kids each week!

Safety/Security
Knowing you are entrusting us with the care of your children, we
at First Lavaca take the safety & security of your children very serious.
Please take the time to learn more about the process & training required
for every Kid Ministry volunteer as well as our onsite security team present
campus wide.

Parent’s Corner
A key component of our purpose as 1L Kids is to equip parents in
the process of pointing their children to Jesus. The “Parent’s Corner” is an
updated resource page full of articles, websites, books/bibles, podcasts, etc
to help you in fulfilling your role in the Great Commission as you disciple
your children.
